Taste Of Edinburgh Approaching Sell Out

24 June 2011

With just a week to go until the big weekend, Scotland’s biggest outdoor food festival, Taste of Edinburgh, is proving to be as popular as ever with this year’s tickets approaching sell out.

Attracting around 25,000 foodies, Taste of Edinburgh is one of the most distinguished and best-attended food festivals in Scotland, with exceptional restaurants, guest chefs and exhibitors all flocking to The Meadows from 1-3 July.

The Saturday lunchtime session is completely sold out with a limited number of pre-book tickets left for the remaining sessions for Saturday evening, Friday and Sunday sessions.

This year’s line-up of 15 restaurants including Café Gandolfi, Cail Bruich, Chez Roux, Cucina at Hiotel Missoni, First Coast, Kama Sutra, Ondine, Plumed Horse, Restaurant Mark Greenaway, Restaurant Martin Wishart, Tigerlily, Two Fat Ladies, VinCaffe and Wedgwood the Restaurant are proving to be a winning combination for food lovers keen to celebrate the best food and drink in Scotland this summer.

Tom Kitchin has also been confirmed for a demonstration in the AEG Taste Theatre, and he will join other guest chefs including Gary Rhodes, Rachel Allen, Jean-Christophe Novelli, Atul Kochhar, Martin Blunos, Jason Therton and Steven Dohery amongst others.

All is not lost however if you still want to attend.  Cheaper advance tickets are still available online at www.tasteofedinburgh.co.uk or by calling the box office telephone line on 0871 297 0742.

Last minute tickets can also be bought at the onsite Box office before each session, with prices starting at £16 on the door.  Sunday is also the last booking day for tickets to be delivered by post, with all bookings from Monday onwards for collection at the box office only.
